Brief description
This group’s lines of research are: Childhood, violence and television. Children’s interpretations of the violent images they see on TV. Ethics in journalism and how conflicts are addressed. The digital gap and intergenerational conflicts. Symbolic violence and violated identities. The media treatment of violence against women and minority groups. How violence is represented in advertising and its cognitive and behavioural effects.
