Winners of the Good Practices Awards for University Cooperation and Ignacio Ellacuría Awards for Social Interest Studies – Aristos Campus Mundus 2015

Last week, the judging panel of the  Premio de Buenas Prácticas en Cooperación Universitaria para el Desarrollo and the Premio Ignacio Ellacuría de Estudios de Interés Social completed their evaluation and decision process.

 

 Good Practices Awards for University Development Cooperation

 The judging panel met last 30 June and members included:

 

  • Chairwoman: Ms. María Rosa Blanco Puga (Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE), Coordinator of the Master’s in International Development Cooperation.
  • Secretary: Dr Isabel Pérez (Universitat Ramon Llull), Vice-Dean for Undergraduate Studies, Quality and Communication, Faculty of Health Sciences, Blanquerna – URL.
  • Members:
    • Mr. Ricardo Navas Hernández (ICAI Engineering Foundation for Development), Manager.
    • Dr. Carles Giol (Universitat Ramon Llull), Head of International Cooperation, La Salle Campus Barcelona – URL
    • Mr. Mateo Aguirre, SJ (University of Deusto), Managerial Assistant, Alboan.
    • Dr Cristina Churruca (University of Deusto), NOHA Master’s Director and NOHA network coordinator.

 Decisions

The members of the judging panel Ms. María Rosa Blanco, Ms. Isabel Pérez, Mr. Ricardo Navas, Mr. Carles Giol, met on 30 June 2014 at 12.00 via videoconference at the Aristos Campus Mundus member universities that organise the Good Practices Award for University Development Cooperation. After deliberation and agreement with the rest of the panel members, they decided to award the following prizes by category:

  • The first prize in this category was not awarded.
  • The second prize in this category was not awarded.

Third category.Undergraduate projects:

  • The first project in this category was not awarded.
  • The second project in this category was not awarded.

 

Ignacio Ellacuría Awards for Social Interest Studies

 

The judging panel met last 9 July and members included:

  •  Chairman: Dr. José Luis Fernández Fernández (Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE), Director of the Chair in Economic and Business Ethics.
  • Secretary: Dr. Carles Comas (Universitat Ramon Llull), Honorary Professor, ESADE – URL.
  • Members:
    • Mr. Jaime Pons Matilla (Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE), Coordinator of the European Network for Combating Poverty and Exclusion in the Community of Madrid.
    • Mr. Martín Iriberri, SJ (University of Deusto), Representative of the Social Sector, Head of Alboan office in San Sebastian and Director of Loiolaetxea.
    • Dr. Óscar Mateos (Universitat Ramon Llull), Vice-Dean for International Relations, Faculty of Social Education and Social Work- Pere Tarrés– URL.
    • Ms.  Cristina de la Cruz (University of Deusto), Vice-Dean for Research, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences.

Decisions

 The members of the judging panel Mr. José Luis Fernández, Mr. Carles Comas, Mr. Jaime Pons, Mr. Martín Iriberri, met on 9 July 2014 at 12.00 via videoconference at the Aristos Campus Mundus member universities that organise the Ignacio Ellacuría Award. After deliberation and agreement with the rest of the panel members, they decided to award the following prizes by category:

First category.Undergraduate projects:

Second category.Postgraduate projects:

  • The first was prize for El discurso neoliberal: un camino hacia la sociedad líquida; Author: Iñigo Arregui Pérez de Loza
  • The second prize in this category was not awarded.
  • A special mention for Creación y validación de contenido de la Plantilla Observacional: Calidad de la Responsividad. Author: Amaia Halty Barrutieta

 

The organisers from each of the three universities will contact the winners to inform them about the dates and procedure for the awards presentation ceremony.

The organisation would like to congratulate and thank all participants and thank all the panel members for their commitment and work.
